The 2019 Toyota Yaris sedan today comes in 3 flavors, which is a blessing in our eyes.
The 2019 Toyota Yaris sedan takes pint-size four-doors at a brand new direction. A nip and tuck for your 2019 model year provides the subcompact sedan revised exterior styling, whereas the lineup currently includes three trimming levels restricted by a range-topping XLE with leatherette upholstery and a couple of swanky features not commonly found in tiny cars.
The 2019 Yaris automobile --that was known as the Yaris iA this past year and also the Scion iA a couple of decades back --would be the four-door counterpart into the Yaris hatchback. Yet all isn't as it seems at first glimpse because the sedan was created and is constructed under contract by Mazda. This means it shares little with all the Yaris hatchback--a blessing to fans thanks to Mazda's sporty automobile know-how.
Up to now, Toyota has just detailed the 2019 Yaris automobile; we do not know whether any changes are in store for the hatchback, but we will update this distance when we find out.

Outdoor, the Yaris sedan includes a revised front fascia with a brand new honeycomb-style grille insert. The slim four-door has a few design hints shared with the Mazda 3, which is not much of a surprise because this Toyota-badged little car is sold as the Mazda two in certain international markets.
Indoors, the Yaris sedan is a dead-ringer to get a Mazda. Each change, knob, and lever is provided by Mazda and differs from that observed on other Toyotas. That is no bad thing, because the Yaris sedans we have pushed have sensed well-built and attribute inside materials a step over what is typical for subcompact automobiles. The Yaris sedan is tight inside, with restricted rear-seat space, but that is not surprising given its cut outside measurements. The Yaris hatchback provides better utility compared to the sedan.
We have not driven the 2019 Yaris sedan, but the styling and lineup changes for 2019 are not likely to change our view: it is a hoot to put through its paces. Its tight suspension is a major step above average subcompact sedans and its own direct, linear steering is as simple as a few sports cars costing twice as much.

For 2019, the Yaris sedan's fuel economy is an EPA-estimated 30 mpg city, 39 street, 34 together with all the manual and 32/40/35 using the optional automatic.
The largest adjustments for 2019 come on the purchasing sheet, because the Yaris sedan is currently offered in three trim levels: L, LE, and XLE.
The Yaris L functions as the gateway into the lineup with its 7.0-inch infotainment display, power windows and locks, and Bluetooth. The LE trim adds heated outside mirrors with LED turn signals, metal wheels, and fog lights.
Toyota has not announced pricing for its upgraded Yaris sedan, therefore we're not certain how the value narrative will workout to the lineup.
Standard security equipment on all Yaris sedans contains automatic emergency braking, six airbags, and stability management. Unlike the automated emergency braking system standard from the Yaris hatchback, the Mazda-supplied collision-avoidance technology is limited to reduced, city rates.
Last year's Yaris iA performed nicely in crash-testing, but did not make the IIHS' Top Safety Pick award due to its poor-performing headlights. It is possible the new LED units fitted into this Yaris XLE will fix this demerit, but the IIHS has not evaluated it yet.
